First of all I want to thank everyone so much! The support has been the most humbling experience anyone can imagine. The army of love and support is beyond amazing. I could never in my wildest dreams imagine something like this could be possible. From my dinner with Ted, coming up with an idea to have a fundraiser to my bestie Rachel, my mom, Ted and a ton of other volunteers rallying a huge auction and party! (Special thanks to the donors) My online team shiny!!! I cant thank them enough for making this site, facebook, twitter and the online auction possible. Thank you Greta, Elizabeth, David and Rachel!! Thank you to all of my friends and family for their support. Thanks to all of the out of towners who came in. Also thanks to my family and friends! You all have paved the tough road ahead for me!!! I can’t thank you enough. So very gracious.
Garrett, LeRoy and i made it safe to Cali. We had a great trip out. Our first stop in Colorado was fun. We were able to stay a full day with Aimee and Erick moon which was a really fun stop. It was great to live a day in the life of the moons. We then drove to Moab Utah. It was the most beautiful drive of my life. We them stayed with garrett’s aunt Ginny for 2 nights. We hiked arches national park. It was the most beautiful place I have ever seen. Our last day driving was long and hard. Traffic on a Sunday after Vegas was long and slow but we made it safe to our new home with Garrett’s mom on Tulare.
Yesterday I got my first IVs and oxygen therapy. It was a long hard day. I also got blood work and mri back. My first tumor is coming back very slightly. My brain will continue to grow them unless I get the treatments I am. Having the surgery to remove the tumors is really only a bandaid and wont get rid of the cancer. I will tentatively be starting an oral chemo type treatment that is targeted with an oncologist here. Its not like the traditional chemo which wont do anything for me. It’s expensive but after starting here I will find an oncologist in Madison that will continue so insurance will help. We have also found that I have a thyroid problem that I am getting medication for. The reports from my DNA are amazing. I am needing lots of supplements and Ivs.

I am so glad to hear you had a nice trip and are enjoying the outdoors! What you are doing is not easy and I am so proud of you for being so strong and just doing the next right thing you need to do to take care of yourself. Much love to you as you continue on with your tests and get the suppliments your body needs.
Love u,
Kirsten
